Specifying Context-Sensitive Help Links in DITA Source Documents
Before you specify context-sensitive help links, review context-sensitive help link requirements. To specify a topic alias for a topic in a DITA source document:
- In your DITA source document, locate your topic's meta information container element.
- For this element, you use the
<othermeta>element to define the topic alias, for example:<othermeta name="TopicAlias" content="helpid"/>Note: You can also use the<data>element to define topic alias values, for example:<data name="TopicAlias" value="helpid"/> - Save the DITA document
- Generate output for your target. For more information, see Generating Output
