ARIA and Accessibility Standards
ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) is a set of attributes defined by the W3C that enhance HTML elements with semantic information for assistive technologies. Reverb 2.0 implements ARIA through:
- Roles that identify the purpose of interface elements
- States that communicate the current condition of interactive elements
- Properties that provide additional context and relationships
