Configuring Landmark ID Generation

By default, Landmark IDs are generated automatically for significant content elements. You can control landmark generation at the paragraph style level using the Style Designer.

Generate Landmark ID

This paragraph style option controls whether Landmark IDs are generated for paragraphs using the style. Located in the Options tab of the Style Designer. Available values are:

Auto (default) - ePublisher determines automatically which paragraphs receive Landmark IDs based on content significance
Enable - Always generate Landmark IDs for paragraphs using this style
Disable - Never generate Landmark IDs for paragraphs using this style

Note: Most users do not need to configure this option. The default Auto setting generates Landmark IDs for headings, tables, and other significant content elements automatically.
