Deployment Editor Window

This window allows you to specify deployment locations for your generated output. A deployment location is a place where you deploy generated output files. A deployment location can be a folder on your local computer or on a network share, or an Amazon S3 bucket. The title bar of this window reads Deploy Destinations.

You can open this window in either of the following ways:

  • On the Edit menu, click Deploy Destinations..., or click the Deploy Destinations button on the toolbar. Deployment locations are not stored in a project, so you can open this window even when no project is open. Opened this way, Add offers Folder and Amazon S3.

  • On the Target menu, click Target Settings, and then click Deploy Destinations.... Opened this way, Add also offers any additional deployment types supported by the output format of the selected target.

Note: Deployment locations are local to this Windows user on this computer, and used by ePublisher Designer, ePublisher Express, and ePublisher AutoMap.

The columns are defined as follows:

Name

Specifies the name of the deployment location.

Deployment Type

Specifies the type of container to which the generated output files are deployed, such as Folder or Amazon S3.
