Job Deploy Destinations Window

This tab of the Edit Job window lists the output destinations defined inside the ePublisher AutoMap job file itself. A destination defined here travels with the job, so a job kept in version control, copied to a build server, or run under another Windows account carries the definition with it. Definitions here belong to the job rather than to one target: any of the job's targets can select one by name in the Deploy to list on the Target Configuration tab. When the job runs, a destination defined in the job takes precedence over a destination of the same name defined on the computer. For more information, see Defining Output Destinations Inside a Job.

The columns are defined as follows:

Name

Specifies the name of the output destination. This is the name a target of the job selects in its Deploy to list, and the name the --destination command-line option resolves.

Deployment Type

Specifies how the output is delivered. Only Folder and Amazon S3 destinations can be defined inside a job, because neither stores a credential. Add one with Add Folder... or Add Amazon S3..., change one with Edit... or by double-clicking it, and remove one with Remove. Deployment types that hold a user name and password are defined on the computer instead, using Deploy Destinations... on the Edit menu.
