How to use Context Links in Reverb 2.0

If you are generating online help it may be more robust to use a context link to a topic alias identifier instead of a traditional hyperlink to a filename and anchor.

With a Reverb context link you are creating a link to a location. This is different from a traditional hyperlink which points to a specific filename.

Because a context link resolves in the reader's browser rather than at generation time, ePublisher cannot verify it while generating output. In releases before 2026.1, the Links report counted every context link as an unresolved link, even though the published link works. Since 2026.1, WebWorks Reverb 2.0 targets classify these links under the Runtime hash link report setting, which defaults to Ignore, so they no longer appear in the Links report; set it to Warning if you want the earlier auditing behavior.
