This window allows you to specify file mappings. A file mapping is an association between a file extension and an ePublisher adapter. An ePublisher adapter is an ePublisher component that bridges the gap between the application in which the source document was created and ePublisher. ePublisher currently provides adapters for Markdown++ (helper), Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, and XML.

The columns are defined as follows:

File Extension

Specifies the name of the file extension.

Adapter

Specifies the ePublisher adapter associated with the file extension.
