The ePublisher System
Source Documents
The ePublisher systems use paragraph and character styles or output classes in the source documents to identify areas of content. Once an area has been identified, the behavior of that content can be controlled in any medium, e.g. HTML5, PDF..., produced by ePublisher.
The trial source documents provided have a preset of paragraph and character styles or output classes. You will use the source documents to complete the tasks listed in the “Using the ePublisher System” section. The trial source documents also include more detail instructions on how to perform the task.
Finally, the “My Edits” section is where you can alter or create your own content and see examples of how to incorporate different media into your HTML5 document sets. However, while editing in the trial source documents, introducing new paragraph and character styles or output classes are not recommended.
