Credit expiry
Each credit purchase expires 12 months after it is made, as the WebWorks terms of service set out. Purchased credits are spent oldest first, so a purchase expires only if the organization hasn't spent it by then.
What expires
Credits | Expiry |
|---|---|
Bought with Buy Credits | 12 months after the purchase, at the same time on the same day of the month, or on the last day of a shorter month |
Bought by auto-replenishment | The same: each recharge is a purchase |
The signup credit, and credit WebWorks adds to the balance | Never |
Included allowance | Doesn't expire: it is reset each month. See Included allowance |
Daily preview allowance | Doesn't expire: it is refilled each day. See Daily preview allowance |
Reminders
The billing email in Settings > Organization gets a reminder 30 and 7 days before purchased credits expire, and one reminder covers every purchase expiring in that window. From the first reminder until the credits expire, Credit Balance on Settings > Billing also shows the amount and the date it expires.
When credits expire
Within hours of the expiry time, the expired amount leaves the balance and View all transactions lists it as Credits expired, labelled Expiry. See Billing activity.
