Included allowance
A paid plan includes dollars of usage every month, its included allowance. Usage is paid from it before purchased credits, and each month it is reset to the plan's full amount. Pay-As-You-Go has no included allowance.
How the allowance works
Area | Rule |
|---|---|
Amount | Each plan's allowance is on the Plans page, and it is the same on monthly and annual billing |
Arrival | When the plan starts, and then every month on the day it started. An annual plan receives it monthly too, not all at once |
Unused dollars | Don't carry over. Each month the allowance is reset to the full amount, and what was left is recorded as Included allowance expired |
Spending order | Every charge is paid from the allowance first: answers in deployment, and preview answers past the daily preview allowance. Purchased credits pay once it runs out |
Auto-replenishment | Doesn't count it. The threshold is measured on purchased credits only, so spending the allowance never triggers a charge |
Switching paid plans | The allowance is reset to the new plan's amount at once |
End of the plan | What is left is forfeited when the organization moves to Pay-As-You-Go. Purchased credits are kept |
Where to see it
Place | What it shows |
|---|---|
Settings > Billing > Credit Balance | Included this month: what is left, the full amount, and the date it resets. The balance above it is labelled Purchased Credits |
Spending summary on the same page | Included in your plan: what is left, and how much of this month's usage the allowance covered |
View all transactions | Included allowance added when the allowance arrives, and Included allowance expired for what a reset or the end of the plan took away |
See Billing activity and Choose or change a plan.
