How billing works
An organization pays for its Assistants, not the people in it. Its plan decides what the organization can do, and its credits pay for the answers its Assistants give.
The organization pays
Each organization has its own plan, credit balance, card and billing email, and switching to another organization shows that organization's billing. Only the owner and the organization's billing managers see the Plans and Billing tabs in Settings. Receipts and billing notices go to the Billing email in Settings > Organization. See Change roles and billing managers.
Plans and credits
| Plan | Credits |
|---|---|---|
Decides | How much usage is included each month, how many Assistants can be in deployment, how much knowledge storage the organization has, and whether chat shows the Powered by WebWorks badge | How much usage the organization can pay for |
Starts as | Pay-As-You-Go, which has no monthly price and no included usage | The one-time signup credit on your first organization |
Bought with | A subscription to Pro or Enterprise, monthly or annual, or a plan code from a WebWorks invoice | Buy Credits and auto-replenishment |
Every plan lets you build and test as many Assistants as you like. See Choose or change a plan and Buy credits.
What costs money
Answers from Assistants in deployment, and preview answers once the day's preview allowance is used. They are paid from the plan's included allowance first and from purchased credits after it. Building Assistants, previewing within the allowance, answers on the free model, and knowledge storage cost nothing. See Credits.
To cap spending, set each Assistant's daily budget and the upper limit on auto-replenishment.
Where the figures are
Prices, allowances and limits can change, so this help quotes none of them. The app shows each one where you need it.
