Messages visitors see
When an Assistant doesn't answer a question, the visitor sees one of these messages instead. The Embedded Assistant shows them as written here when its language is English, and translated otherwise; Reverb 2.0 help receives the same messages.
Messages your settings decide

Answers resume at 00:00 UTC. A budget pause sends your billing address one email that day. | Raise the daily budget, or set it to keep answering on the free model (Cap an Assistant's daily spend). For free answers, add credits or choose a paid model (The free model). |
You've reached the message limit for now. Please come back later to continue. | The visitor has sent as many messages as the per-visitor limit allows in its time window. The Embedded Assistant tells them how long until they can continue. | Raise the limit, lengthen or shorten the window, or make it unlimited (Limit messages per visitor). |
This assistant is not available. | The Assistant isn't in deployment. On a website, the Embedded Assistant doesn't appear at all instead. | Turn the switch on (Put an Assistant in deployment). |
Messages the Platform decides
These protect the Assistant and lift on their own; there is nothing to set.

Too many requests. Please wait a little while before trying again. | The visitor's requests set off automatic abuse protection. The Embedded Assistant tells them how long to wait. |
Access is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. | The visitor set off the protection repeatedly, so it lasts longer. |
This conversation is too long to continue. Please start a new conversation. | The conversation has grown past what one conversation can hold. |
Your message is too long to send. Please shorten it and try again. | One message is longer than a visitor can send. |
The assistant is unavailable right now. Please try again later. | The Embedded Assistant met an error it has no other message for. |
