WebWorks Platform overview
WebWorks Platform is where you build and run an AI Assistant: an assistant that answers visitors' questions from content you give it, on your own website or inside Reverb 2.0 help published with ePublisher. Your team signs in at https://platform.webworks.com. Visitors need no account.
What an Assistant is made of
Part | What it is | Where you set it |
|---|---|---|
The Assistant | Its name, its Instructions (what it is and how it answers), and the model it answers with | AI Assistants, then the Assistant's Configure tab |
Knowledge | The Knowledge Base it searches for every question: websites it imports, and files you upload, such as the Knowledge Files an ePublisher build produces | Knowledge Base on the Configure tab |
An install | One script tag on your website, or the Assistant ID in a Reverb 2.0 target | The Assistant's Install tab |
Two settings decide whether visitors get answers: the Origin Domains, the sites the Assistant may answer on, and the In Deployment switch. Until both are set, the Assistant answers only you, in Preview. See Installs.
Everything belongs to an organization: its Assistants, its billing and its members. See Organizations.
Where things are
Area | What it holds |
|---|---|
Dashboard | Questions asked, by Assistant and over time, and the topics visitors ask about. Until the organization's first Assistant is in deployment, a Get your Assistant live checklist walks through the five steps. |
AI Assistants | Every Assistant in the organization. Open one to reach its Configure, Preview and Install tabs. |
Settings | Account and Organization for everyone; Plans and Billing for the owner and billing managers. |
The menu under your profile picture | Settings, Documentation, Support, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Sign Out. Documentation opens this help; Support starts an email to customerservice@webworks.com. |
A question-mark icon beside a heading or setting opens a short explanation of it. Most end with Learn more, which opens the topic about it in this help.
What costs money
Building, configuring and testing Assistants in Preview draws on a free daily allowance. Answers that an Assistant in deployment gives visitors draw on the organization's credits. See Credits.
